Anna and Anton’s grandson, Larry Anton Olson, will chronicle his grandparent’s journey as the recently married Anna and Anton arrive in Cystal City, Texas from Chicago.
Travelling with Anna and Anton were 14 other Swedish couples and 9 Swedish men that were also excited about the opportunity to sell vegetables grown on their own farms. Shortly after they arrive, Anna, Anton, and the other Swedish immigrants discover the reality of immigrant life in a newly created Texas town.
